A few shakedown runs 10.11 best w/ time slips now First time to the track this year, when once last fall.
Car is still in the tuning stage and new shocks and springs.
Car was bouncing off the rev limiter around the 1200' mark. 7500 limiter.
Didn't play will the new shocks. Set them up 75% loose on rebound and 75%stiff on compression.
Last fall, right off the trailer, ran a 1.459 60', 6.651 1/8th. @101.27 mph
Best et was a 10.68 and best mph was 131.09 both bouncing off the rev limiter. Limiter was set at 7200.
Set limiter at 7500 last night. Still bouncing at 1200' or so.
First pass 1.442 60', 6.62 1/8th @ 105.82.
Second pass 1.459 60', 6.54 1/8th @106.97 10.20 @ 132.66 1/4 mile.
Thrid pass 1.466 60', 6.47 1/8th @107.96 10.11 @ 131.22 1/4 mile.
When I built this car I was shooting for 10.30's.
Then I said, Hell why not 10.0's. LOL.
Anyways, I think 9.90's are very near.
Car is in my sig.
The 275 MT DR's are 6 years old and hard as Hell.
I can't shift the car worth a ****.
Need tweaking on the tune, just really a baseline "get it to the track tune".
Need to work on the suspension and get it to 60' in the low 1.30's.
Oh yeah, haven't even hook up the transbrake.
I'll post up the time slips and alittle video later.

initial shakedown runs at 10.1 on a goal of 10.3 hot damn good for you ! sounds like those 9.90's are only a tweak or 2 away... Taller tire where yours are older and hard maybe to get you closer to 1320 before your on the limiter ? sounds like you need to spend that $$ anyways... whats in it for gears ? drop gears a whisker ?
