PB 1/8th mile times
99 Trans Am- Headers, exhaust, lid car 1.985 on crappy no traction drag radials(thank god stock 10 bolt though) 60 ft 8.3 1/8th mile and 85 mph.. car is a 6 speed. Any ideas what my quarter mile time would be and how does this sound for the mods?

Also, judging by these numbers, what mods would it take me to get maybe a 7.99? Keep in mind stickier tires and gears will have to wait until I get a stronger rear end.

8.3 x 1.565 (trusty conversion factor) = 12.98.
And if you need to wait to get the stickier tires, I think you might have to wait for the 7.99 also, unless you have something in mind that adds 40-50 HP.

Ehh I guess I could add a cam but I suppose it looks like it will have to wait. I'm just suprised my 10 bolt has held up this long.. 50 or so passes? maybe more I still can get full bolt ons I suppose, would get me close I think.

An 8.53 would normally be 13.30's, but 112 MPH is giving you a good top end charge. With better traction, mid 12's or better are possible.
