Default 2004 CTS-V: 10.35 @ 138.60mph on 1.55 60'. Manual Trans!

Finally got my car together and decided to make some test hits on Friday.

First pass off the trailer I lifted at the 1/8th mile to keep from getting kicked out but I was certainly on a high 10.3 pass or low 10.4 pass. I was immediately kicking myself for not just sticking with it, but ultimately I was glad I didn't get the boot because the car started launching even better.

Best pass of the night turned out to be a 10.35 @ 138.60mph on a 1.55 60'. Trapped a best of 139.75 on a 10.4x pass.

Car is 4080lbs w/ driver. As some of you know the IRS in these cars is plagued with not being able to launch. But I think we're figuring it out!!!

Thanks man. Yes, still IRS. Using a Creative Stee/Ford 8.8 cobra diff/pumpkin and DSS axles. Very common swap in the V1s and it's holding up well.

The 1.55 60' came on only my 4th pass w/ this suspension combo and I feel With more seat time on another day with great prep there may be some left on the table!
