Default Made it to the track with my yank 3600ss

Last year with boltons( 99 t/a 134k) / nt05 I made one pass and ran 12.952 at 109.18 / 2.120 60ft with dyno tune. Installed performabuilt stage 1 trans / yank 3600ss with frost tune with nt05r's. Made one pass and ran 12.323 at 110.47 with a 1.781 60ft. I'm very happy with this time!! When I ran the 12.9 it was low 60's with no wind. Today it was 70 with 6 mph head wind. Oh yeah I also went from a sealed ws6 lower box/slp lid setup to a volant air filter setup. I don't know the whole DA thing so I couldn't tell you that? Both runs where at the same track. I set tire pressure at 22psi hot and did a small burn out without water and the nt05r hooked very well!! Im pretty impressed with frost tune! With dyno tune / cooler air / little better 60ft I feel I can maybe run 12.0 . Who knows maybe even a 11.999 with no wind?

No on DA. Love those tires . With little burn out(2 sec) and 22 hot psi they hooked really well. Track prep was really good. Very little spin. I preloaded to about 1k rpm. Whats the lowest 60ft you've seen with a Bolton/3600 stall? Just want to see if improved 60 is possible?

I do not know what the best bolt on ss3600 60' is but my best 60' with full weight and a shitty air intake setup is 1.71

I usually stall it up to about 1400 rpm's then when it's time to go I try and push the gas pedal threw the floor board.
You should be able to get those tires to absolutely dead hook.
I will be going back to the track in the next few weeks so we will see....

I was gonna try that next but didn't get the chance. I semi flashed it if you want to call it that taking off from 1k. Kinda worried about blowing out rear if I dead hooked. I wanted to get a feel of how the tires would hook first that's why I did the 1k launch. If I heated the tires a little longer I know it would've dead hooked. Track prep was really good! What's your thoughts on dead hook with 10 bolt? I know people say if it's gonna blow it's gonna blow but that's not very reinsuring lol.

My buddy's car does 1.5x with boltons and a SS3600 (it's all about weight reduction )

Ragtopz . What's your buddy 1/4 with his Bolton/3600? Good to know lower 60ft is possible with my setup. Full flash it is!

My best 60ft on the Yank SS3600 with LS2 is 1.61

3750lbs race weight and suspension is STIFF and set up for flat cornering, gets virtually no weight transfer

I've had 2 SS3600's and both of them liked to be stalled as high as possible. I have been able to cut a 1.5 in my H/C vette and a 1.7 in my bolt-on T/A with a 2.73 gear.

Hmmm? Guess I will have to try both ways? Most I've read said best times are achieved by flashing them. I'm just hoping I can do better then my 1.78. That was done taking off around 800-900 rpm with very very little tire spin.

I had heard several people had better results by stalling up, for a long time every time I tried the car spun so I thought that was the problem. Since then I've been on some well prepped tracks with a Hoosier DOT radial that doesn't have a problem hooking and it's at best matched the flash 60ft but never went faster.

I'm hoping to go Friday night and I can try again. Might just be a difference in what some combos like so I would def try it both ways and see what works better for you.

I'd love to get a 1.5 out of mine
