Default G5X-3/ 150 shot 9.76@137

Now that the 'Street' racing season is over, I thought I'd share some nitrous times.
I had put the G5X-3 in my car for some of the summer.
My opinions on this cam are this-
It didn't 60' as well as the X2 but it did pick up a solid 1.5 mph.
I just think my nitrous converter stalled to low to take advantage of it.
It still ran 10.80's-10.90's in the heat.
This is a GREAT street cam, nitrous cam.
Now for the bottle-
I had some issues going a little crooked out of the hole.(the rearend was moving)
This was due to no upper PHB and possibly poly ends on the lower PHB.
I fixed that issue putting the upper PHB back on and spherical rod ends on
the lower PHB but never ran it with the X-3 because I put the Juggernaut cam in.

So this is the best time I could muster out of that set up-

August 31st, 2004
Route 66 raceway
DA +1800

60'- 1.349
330'- 3.973
1/8- 6.195
MPH- 110.24
1000' 8.126
1/4- 9.768
MPH- 137.09

I haven't got a good ,clean, timed run out of the Juggernaut cam, but with
the same settings as the X-3, it stood on the bumper.
It pulls HARD on the new cam.
I have only ever run a 150 shot (TNT).It seems like a 'reliable' shot if there
ever was one.
I have over 40 nitrous passes and everything is perfect.
My TH400 *might* be wounded so I *may* not have spray times on this cam this year.Maybe after 250 passes on this trans, it might need to be freshened.
(the 1st to second shift extension is taking longer)I had to set the shiftlight
to 5800 yesterday in order for it to shift by 7100.
We will see.

You are my hero!

137 mph out of a 150 shot is sick.

The weight is 3050 give or take for fuel.

I think the new cam *might* go 138-139 mph

Jeez, suddenly the "9.69 Stock Bottom End Record " doesn't look so untouchable. Imagine if you had ported heads. Think the trans will hold together long enough to get the record?

We made some, we lost some. Everyone around here knows what I run and
If I went some where else, no one would believe it has stock stuff.
I didn't build this car to hustle, I built this car to race as much as possible.
I could build a sleeper that would run 9's and look/sound stock, but it doesn't interest me anymore.
Suspension is QA-1/ BMR/ LG stuff.Tires are 29x10 Hoosier Drags.
