I thought it was a toss up between ARE and East Side performance.
i know it was 2 years ago, but who was it?

i thought that also.
are did it with some sort of modified suspention location and east side did it with stock suspention setup, and ls1 heads and block.
this sound correct?
i remember their was a bunch of **** tossed around when this was happening, but this thread isnt for that, its for somthing ealse. anyone ealse?

Hardcore and ARE both used C5R heads, ESP was the first stock casting in the 8s. Thats picking the fine lines, but hey, there was a fastest stock stall 2.73 Ls1 with red wheels in all of iceland.

yhea, ESP did it with ls1 block/heads and ls6 intake with stock suspention location!
ARE was flipped points or somthing with C5R.

just wondering why they would put first LS1 into the 8's.

People pick on them for a reason. this may be one of them.

I know alot of people love them, alot hate them, and people like myself never delt with them so have no accual opinion. but claming to be the first and not being the first. thats pretty stupid!

ARE was the first to go 8's,bar none.They went 8.92 with ls1 block and LS6 heads back in 02.I'm not going to get into the legal in every pro racing series,but not LS1Tech series rear suspension.

This is not an endorsement of those guys,just passing on some facts.

why does it bother you so much? many think they are a mickey mouse club, many think they know what they are doing. face it, this isnt the first time someon on the net has made a claim that isnt exactly true lol

It doesnt bother me that much, im just wondering why? People claim stuff yes, but they have it posted on ther web site ect. just isnt true, why have it. thats all.
