New Best 60'!!!!!
It was dead at work all day yesterday, so I made up some excuse to go home early and headed out to the track!! I messed with my suspension a bit and really wanted to see if it would help her hook up a little. So first run right off the street I went 10.66 @ 128.18 on a 1.57 60'. I knew something didn't feel right, and then I remembered, I was in such a rush I forgot to adjust my shocks, so they were still at 5 all the way around how I drive them on the street, doh!!! So I went back, adjusted them, heated the bottle back up, and hot lapped another run and went 10.65 @ 127.64 on a 1.55 60', again spun real bad, but not from the shocks, the track prep was ***!!! So after this run, we finally got some cool down time, some things happened, and then they did the 8 oclock prep and then we were first to go after the prep!! Went up for the run and the track hooked pretty decent, went 10.56 @ 127.10 on a 1.47 60' !!!!! That's my best 60' ever and boy did it feel nice!!! Even though I cut that 60', I had a buddy watching me launch, and he said i'm twisting real bad off the line, and it's initially hooking, but then the rear is unloading and causing the tires to spin! So it looks like I should really be able to pick up my 60's when I get a set of lca relocation brackets and a rear torque arm!! Plus maybe after I get those I won't have to do a rediculously huge john force burnout to get my slicks to hook up halfway decent, hehe!!! I wish the weather was like last wednesday though, it was pretty crappy out and I was down about a mph or two!!!

Nice! I'm hoping to cut some high 1.4's this year also. I don't make near the power you do but I have the BMR x-treme torque arm and it works great. Also, the QA1 adjustable shocks are a HUGE help in my opinion. I pretty much dead hook every time. Sometimes my rear right unloads and spins a little but I'm currently relocating the stock battery to the rear right wheel well and getting the BMR anti-roll bar. Hopefully that will completely cure that problem.

Thanks everyone, as for the 1/8th et and mph, i'll have to try and find the slip tomorrow and i'll post up what it was, I don't remember off the top of my head. And with the nitrous kit in there now, she's probably at 3250 w/o me in her, was 3220 before.

Devon, your going to need a HANS device at this rate.
Good job bro! With an M6, I doubt I'd ever be able to get that, let alone a 12 bolt that could 60 that quick.
These are times I wish I had an automatic

Hey Dev, that's funny you cut your best that night whereas my best 60' was 1.87 so that's pretty awesome. Don't know why my 1.78's weren't with me..........I was leaving a bit too high blew em off at 4K and cut a nasty 2.0 that kicked out to the side as it hooked, once I had such a bad wheel hop before it really hooked my Pepsi flew out of my drink holder
Time for the MT drag radial, steel driveshaft and 2 more Welds.
Congrats on that awesome 60' dood

I'd be able to get home on the MT's if I had to and would be able to run around on them for few days if need be. Not all into changing tires at the track ya know? Well maybe by this time next year I won't be drivin the T/A daily anymore so being on those won't matter. But a track night/rainout would definately suck going home on them
