have run both tr6's @ .030 and tr7's @ .030
I forget the real part number for the 7 right now, but its the next colder plug from the TR6.
TR8's would foul too quickly for my taste, and i was seeing very good plug readings with the 7's so I stuck with them.
traps high 160's to low 170's

I have noticed my TR8s foul out quick as well. I'm not running a power adder but I trap 140 mph on motor. I tried to find a TR7 but they didnt seem to exist anywhere, I mean I have a part number but I couldn't find a distributor anywhere. I put the TR6s in the motor and they seem to work better in the colder weather, but this summer I will be going back to TR8s gapped .035.
