ET Street Radials getting better! 10.17@133.6mph!
Well I put in my new 8.8" hybrid rear with 3.55's in hopes for some better 60's off the T-brake but it didn't happen. All the car would do is spin off the brake so off the footbrake I ran 10.23@132mph with the 175hp jets in my NX nozzle then I decided to try 200HP and heres how it went with 15psi in the 325/50/15's ET street radials.
60' 1.53
1/8th 6.50@105mph
1/4 10.17@133.6mph! best pass to date.
I tried 16,19, and 20 psi in my tires but nothing seemed to work any better. I need to check the pinion angle again since I swapped rears and get an aftermarket torque for the rear b/c I think the stocker is part of my problem. Still the little CC306 355" LT1 is making some serious power. Later Clint

My tires with 19-20psi puts the whole tread on the street when I burnout and I haven't tried low pressure on the street but the tires are not hooking the way I would like. I am putting a good torque arm and adjusting the pinion angle. If it still doesn't hook then I will be trying true 28x10.5's or 28x10.5W's! Later Clint

You have drag shocks? I would do front drag shocks before I would do a torque arm. I think a torque arm is usually a good idea if your's is bent or falling apart.
How do those tires drive on the street? Any pics?

John I have Hal's up front but stock springs and shocks out back. I am thinking of trying some V6 springs along with Hal's in the back. I am also looking at antiswaybars. The tires drive awesome you can't tell it's a sticky tire b/c there is little to no swaying anymore. Later

My car is a weekend nice weather car only so I only put maybe 20-30miles a week. Sometimes the car stays parked for a couple weeks if I am too busy or crappy weather. I would not see a problem with 100mi./week just may not last very long. The driveability is great though. Later

i know they wont last long ( prolly a few k miles) but id rather have 275/40 MT DRs than reg street tires on it just in case sum1 wants to play.
i wont be drivin that much cuz i got the 95 Z for a DD but was just wondering how these DRs compared w/ nittos as far as street drivin was conserned

I have 4.10's now and stepping back to 3.73's real soon for some more MPH.
Great run
