Default First Time out w/ new set up(good/bad/ugly)

Well last night I took my car out to cecil county w/ the new set up for the first time since my T-56 swap. the car ran real solid w/ the new Transking TH400 and jw stall. My best time was:

R/T: .083
60': 1.59
1/8 / MPH: 7.33 / 93.09mph (i think i short shifted this one)
1/4 / MPH: 11.62 / 112.92mph (letting out)

I had to let out out it a little after the 1000' mark since i ran out of tire (26" BFG) and a 6500 rpm redline.

Ugly part of the nigth was i was on my way home and something let go inside of the motor. I still have a stock 40,000 mile 98 shortblock and heads. so this weekend i guess i'll be taking stuff apart to see what went wrong. All in all it was a fun night and great to go back down the 1320. I'm real happy w/ my Trans I got from MADMAN just to bad something had to let go in the motor but thats racing and i will be back.

Cool man. Sorry about your motor. Madman is hooking me up with a sweet tranny from Tranz-King also. Please keep us updated on your motor problems.

well I pulled the drain plug and found metal fillings so i must have spun a bearing. i'll be pulling the motor probly next week sometime and tear it down. maybe change the cam and do some head work while its down.

dude you better stop going to track. Everytime you go you break something.
Hope it works out for the best. I'd be pretty sick if that was my car. Well if you need any help you know how to get ahold me. Late man and sorry to hear about the good/bad/ugly.

Yeah the stock parts are pretty much all gone now.
