With the cam and springs, you could be shifting at more than 6,000. With your mod list, I would think it would run faster. Tuning will help you out.

*note, this is coming from a guy that runs 12.7's in a 231/237 cammed car.

I pulled 12.7 @ 110mph w/ 1.92 sixty at milan. Same setup as you minus ls6 intake and mac midlengths instead of longtubes. I was shifting the car at 6200. This was on opening day with 25-30mph headwinds also.

I think your car has a lil more in it. Get a tire on it, cut those sixties down and rev it out a lil bit more..You have a nice 12 second car on your hands...

yeah i need to get this thing on the dyno so i can tune it properly. i know i need to shift higher but i cant until its got a safe tune and i know where my peak power is at. i was getting 4-5 degrees of knock too. i know i coulda got a 12sec pass out of her with a 1.9 sixty and powershifting, just getting used to the on off clutch, as soon as it grabs the tires light up, even riding the crap out of it.

next time out i hope to have a 9" rear and 11.5in drags with a tune, what you think i will hit then? thanks for the input

You did better than my first time at the track cam only untuned. I ran slower than stock before I had it tuned.
