Just got back from US41
I swapped out my tires this week froma 29x10 Hoosier drag to a 30x9
Goodyear radial because I was hitting the limiter before the finishline
last week.Well ,I'm still hitting the limiter before the finish line(5-10 feet maybe)
Magnus met me up there to battle for Cam Only supremecy.
Well I had the record for about an hour, then he tied it.
That's right ladies and gentlemen, the record now has 2 first places.
We both ran 10.295.
here's my slip, this is the first hit off the trailer with the 2 step set @ 4k.-

I had 9 other runs in which I'm trying to TnT the tires vs the tune.
I pulled a 1.335 somewhere in the middle then was running 1.38's
(these are all on the converter,no 2 step) and I'm getting mad I can't
get my 60' back.
Well for the last 2 runs I bumped the tires up to 12.5 .
adding 2% fuel-
60'- 1.328
330' - 4.147
1/8- 6.505
mph- 103.60
1000'- 8.560
1/4- 10.307
mph- 128.56
DA +544
then for ***** and giggles I add 2% more fuel and 1 degree of timing-
60'- 1.327
330'-4.155
18-6.506
mph-104.21
1000'-8.558
1/4-10.302
mph-128.47
It *appears* the leaving off the 2 step(at 4k) is better because it gets to 330' quicker even though it 60's worse.
I guess I need more TnT.(and order a 4.33 gear)
The good news-
Rodney is now in second place.
The bad news-
I still have major weight reduction planned.

more good news, i realize after weighing the car that yall have over 140+lbs on me

i forsee 9.99 cam only in the next year or so, something will happen and someone will do it. ill move on before then tho.
