Default went to GLD, ran the 305

well...until i have the ls1/6spd in the car i am trying to see how fast i can get the 305 to run

the car has an intake, holley 600 vac sec, headers,3 inch exhaust, running 10 degrees initial timing and 87 octane

best i ran was 14.5@96mph with a 2.35 60ft (215/65r/15s cooper cobras and a worn posi spinning one tire)

think this car COULD hit 13.9?

that's moving for a 305. with traction you'd be real close to the 13's. Get some tires and a nice carrier and go back

do a auto/ls1 swap.... if u want to make the current setup faster in ways that will benefit the future setup.... i can think of a few things.. rearend, weight, wheels, appearance ect.

I'd fix the carrier, that 2.3 is partially due to one-legging it. I think you can hit 13.9's.

i agree too...i plan on having the carrier fixed and hopefully get some better WIDER tires and possibly mess with the carb and timing a little more...i know for a fact this motor has alot more power in her...just gotta find it

how is the car going?....i know you wont remember me but i talked with you at a mfba meeting a few years back

I'd fix the posi before I would touch anything else.

Car is good, I am just looking for the first chance to go racing.
