please tell me if im crazy?
let me start of by thanking anyone who gives advise. I have a 99 SS,before the mods i ran an average time in the 1/8 of 8.80-8.90 with just a lid. I recently add pacesetter lt, TSP catted Y, GMMG exhaust, yank ss3600 converter, cooler and custom tuning from chris robinson.(LS1 edit) I was hoping fo 8.0-8.20s but the best ive got is an 8.37. I bought MT drag radials with some 16" rims but my 60' sucks. I use to get 2.0 60' with no mods on street tires but can only get 1.94 60' on drag radials with little to no spin. Was I just hoping for to much or does something seem off to you guys. Its been pretty hot when i run but it was hot out when i use to run before and now i have a 160 stat. and temps never go over 185-190 on my autometer guage.

Yep, the 60 foot should be better than that, and the summer air to winter air can be 3-5 tenths worse. More info on launch rpm, tire pressure, burnout procedure, etc would be helpful. Also post mph #s to go with your 1/8 mile ets so we know if the power is there...

I would guesss that you are spinning and just don't know it. I have heard that Yank converters like to be stalled as high as possible before the launch. I honestly have no experience with them, but i've heard that's how you get the best results. The weather is also gonna do crazy things to your times.
