Ran the car today...not happy with the times...
I ran the car for the first time today...2000 A4/3.23's, lid, and nittos. Best run was a 13.86 @ 101.34. The weather was pretty hot though, about 85-90, and it was real humid. The track was also at 1000 feet elevation. I was expecting a little better though, at least 13.60's. One thing I don't understand though is that the car was dead hooking off the line but I was pulling 2.2x 60 foot times all day and one was even a 2.3x, but there was no wheel spin! I don't know if it was my driving or what but I stalled it up to 1,500 and nailed it and the wheels didn't spin so I thought it should pull 2.0x or 2.1x's with no wheel spin. I don't know what else I could do? Overall I'm not too happy, but everyone was slower today.

262rwhp? Sounds like you've got something a-miss. 13.8 with DR's and 262rwhp sounds fairly accurate though. 2.2 60's sounds off too. I was doing 2.1's with street tires yesterday in 90 degree heat.

Mustang Dyno's (almost) always show lower numbers than a dynjet...but they are actually more accurate.
You are going to run like crap in the heat of the summer.
If you are only cutting 2.2x's and 2.3x's you need to either brake stall the stock converter a little, or go to WOT sooner. I used to cut 1.9x's on nitto's with my WS6 without thinking about it. getting that 60' down to a 2.0 will be worth at least 4 tenths over a 2.2 60'.

I wouldn't be too upset with those times for summer air and a 1000 ft elevation without factoring in the DA. Work on your launch a little (I stall mine to 900-1000 rpm and get 2.0 or better 60 foots constantly) and your times will drop, good luck!

Your times ain't all that bad. The heat is probably killing your car. I've seen a difference of 2 mph from the heat, so don't think that it is short of power. Also i've read that mustang dynos are alot lower then dynanometers, so you shouldn't be expecting to see 300 whp. Take it over to a dynojet if you can. You may want to check your spark plugs, cause the car will pull timing (In case you do believe that you are losing horsepower).
