Default New best with Carb Style Stock Cubes

Still getting this new combo sorted out but things are looking up.
I had the converter redone but it's way too tight now...finally going to a 350 trans with a brake from my 4L60. Going in soon.

New best was at MIM for Midwest F-Body Assoc
10.35 @ 131.6 (104 in 1/8) with a shitty 1.47 60 ft. (Converter is way wrong)
Set up is Stock Cubes-Solid Roller-Carb Style-BS3-4L60-12 Bolt 4:88
Weight is 3200 lbs and I thought someone said the air was around +1000 ft that day.

Sounds good Rich I got a Carb style intake now also with LS6 heads. I like it so far. I think it has potential.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but does "carb style" mean it's a single plane carb. look-a-like with a TB on top, or did any of you actually stick a 4bbl on there?

Just curious as I'd like to hear some #'s with actual carb LS1's...

Sweet!

Good weather and some dialing in you'll be real close to a single digit midget!

Yea, that's what I was thinking, you're still EFI.

I would like to eventually see some #'s from an actual carb set-up...

Yeh I made a few shakedown runs Saturday. I am about 3 tenths off last year but I will try to step it up.

Nice new numbers Rich, are you gonna go with an 8" converter? You shooting for 9.99?
