Well, something screwed up with the printer or something. There is no way you pulled a 1.53 running that slow on a stock stall. I pulled a 1.53 last night and ran 6.98. Are you sure you didnt stage with the rear tires

When you put your tires in the starting line beams, you light up the two small yellow bulbs on top of the tree.

I respect your opinion , because I know no way for a stock suspension with no plenty of power to pull a 60` like that , I am not new in dragracing and I am sure about what I wrote . the reason why I post this is to share info and benefit from other experience and the most important reason is to know how this car pulled a 60 like that and wana know if any body done that , I have a doubt that their is something wrong and looking forward to hear from experts .

Thanks for your input.

I think it is reasonable , because my freind while he was driving was pulling a range 0f 2.05-2.18 of 60` by not warming them up as they should be and ran 13.xx and when I did a good 60` and good reaction time we resulted in a excellent 60 and great time .

make since !?!? .

I have made hundreds, if not thousands of passes. I'm telling you it didnt happen. Reaction time has nothing to do with your 60 ft time.

Here is one my passes from 10/12/02. My car had a lid, and open y-pipe.

1.976
8.298
87.50mph
12.818
108.76 mph

Added a Yank 2600 stall and DR's 11/16/02

1.817
8.043
88.42mph
12.524
109.32mph

Got it tuned at the track same day. 11/16/02

1.79
7.852
90.45mph
12.221
111.94mph

I also had a freak run, at the time (9Nov02) my car only had Direct flo lid, Pace LS-6 MAF, FTRA, HPP3, stock converter, stock 3.23 gears, and stock F-1 street tires.

2.281 8.741 85.54 13.365 106.86
2.410 9.010 85.35 13.632 106.84
2.391 8.869 85.54 13.469 107.61
2.100 8.554 85.38 13.162 107.09
And out of no where a dead hook on street tires
1.593 8.017 85.74 12.622 107.10

Other people thought a 1.7? would of fit in better.

I made some passes where I dead hooked on street tires, stock stall and 3:23 gears. They were all 1.9x sixty ft times.

If you pulled a mid 1.5 with all stock suspension you would more than likely be lifting the left front tire off the ground.

yeah, that seems a little fishy.

i ran 8.18 @ 80 mph with a 1.70 60'.

if you had a 1.53 60' you should've been deep into the 7s with that trap in the 1/8.

also, it's not possible for a stock converter car with no poweradders and those few bolt-ons to cut a 1.53 60...on stock suspension to boot.

that has to be a sub 2.0 60, but not THAT low.

my buddy ran 8.40s @ 84 with 2.0x short times.

first time i went to the track it showed my 1/8 trap @ 91. only engine mod was a lid at the time, so naturally i was like wtf.
