Default 98ls1, t56, 89 camaro 1/8th times

Howdy,
I ran my car for the first time since i finished the swap. 1989 IROC Camaro, 98 ls1 stock with 01 exhaust manifolds, 3.42 rear.

HMP in houston, 1/8th mile track

8.69 @ 77.1mph, 1.93 60' - how does this stack up, and is the mph low for the speed (most where in the 77 range, with one at 81)? I am on 255/40/17 street tires (Goodyear GS-D3), i had a better 60' time than i was expecting. I am using the stock tpi air filter setup which i think is holding me back.

it's been a couple of years since i have drag raced - and i had a blast!

Looks like we are about the same as far as motor set-ups go. I have a stalled auto instead of the 6 speed, and 2.73's instead of 3.42's. That mph looks a little low. I was running similar ETs before the stall and lca's but my mph was still around 84. How much tuning have you done? Also, what was the DA at your track?

I've had the TPI intake from day one and have heard it is a restriction, someday I will upgrade and see exactly how much.
