Default Ran 1/8th Mi, what should my 1/4 mile be?

Hey guys,

I drove my Z28 on the strip for the 1st time tonight. I was 3 cars from the front in the staging lanes and they went from the 1/4 to the 1/8th. I was pi$$ed off from this. Anyways, my 1st run in the 8th mile was an 8.9679@82.42 MPH. Not bad. Next was an 8.9719 @ 81.66 MPH. I ran both of these runs in "D" and on the third run I kept it in "OD" @9.0131@81.52 MPH. My Mods are below in the sig. What do you think I should be running in the 1/4 Mile? I was running 93 Oct (Full tank) and i was in ful street trim and spare in trunk. I am really curious what Ill run.

I'd say high 13s to low 14s depending on how it run the back-half of the track.

I feel this car should be running much quicker than it is. What were you 60 foot times? Is the track you are running at a high elevation track?

I think it should be running much quicker too. I had Fuzion ZRI's @ 26 PSI. My best 60 ft time was 2.18 and the other 2 were 2.2's. The track is about 15 miles from the Atlantic ocean. Oh yeah, one of my front tires has a leak and I forgot to fill it up. So my fronts were @ 25 PSI. I know they should have been filled alot more than that. Overall, I was happy that I didn't lose to the Mitsubishi I raced.

High 13's at best. You won't run mid 13's with an 8.9 sec. 1/8th mile. When my car was close to stock I ran a 9.0 sec. 1/8th mile at 83mph, and ran a 13.7 sec. 1/4 mile. Most likely you'll pull off a 13.6 sec. pass at 103-104mph.

That isnt too bad of a time, just wsh they didnt shut down the 1/4 mile 3 cars in front of me. I'll throw on some slicks to tame that 60' time. Thanks

i ran a 8.59, when it was stock, with a .559 reaction time. i just got my stall put in and ran a 8.414. the car has way more in it then that, i had a 1.900, 60ft. time and was spinning half way down the track. if i get some slicks for it, i know i can be around a 8 flat.
