Default need some opinion's on what's causing this please?? (long)

the car is 99t/a with a 4000 stall and level4 tranny 100 shot of nitrous..
the first run 1.71 60' 7.24 et at 96mph
second 1.72 60' 7.25 at 97.5
3run 1.76 60' 7.63 at 91.4
4run 1.83 60' 7.87 at 89
the tranny has been in about a month and the tc also both are new....could the tc be slipping not handling the spray or maybe tire spin? it has me just wondering whats going on the tranny seems fine. any idea's would sure be appreciatted...........the only chnage between the 2nd and 3rd. run was I let my et's down to 12lbs. on the first and second run they were at15lbs.

Thanks

Some time back, we did tire testing with Jerry Francis, @ M/T.
The tests were all done same day, same driver, yadda, yadda..The test vehicle was instrumented with wheel, d/s, engine speed, data recording equipment.
The ET's were tested at different pressures. [As were all the other tires] The optimum psi was found to be 14 to 16psi. Any lower, or higher, resulted in poorer short times, etc.
Jerry had the burnout time adjusted, so we got the tire face at 10* hotter than the track surface. This was checked each pass.
[He said he LOVES the long, T/F burnouts! Sells tires!!]
Was the car cooled down, between runs? The drop in MPH would indicate a loss of HP to the track.. Too hot?
Trans going away?
Bottle PSI falling off?
Same burnout procedures?
Maybe try to video the launch, and see what can be learned?
Data logs?

At the end of the day, the ET's actually were a small bit better than the slicks...

yes I can understand what your saying about the tires.......yep waited between runs to cool down, tried to do the burnout the same thats what has me lost.done everything the same. The tranny has about maybe 1000 miles on it and the tc..now the tranny is a built a-4 from one of our sponser's and so is the tc..I have hp tuner and thought about hooking it up and logging with it but to be honest don't know exactly what needs to be logged? any idea's .and also the weather stayed about the same.

I think I have found my problem......when I go wot n/a rpm fall back to around 5500 and then rise back to 6500 to change but on the spray it almost stays at the same rpm so that tells me it's the tc correct?
