First Race of the season Well what a freaking weekend! Spent friday night hanging out and helping a friend get his new borrowed drag car set up for the saturday race. All good .
Start saturday good with some clean time runs and my TA is running where it needs and we rather on the quick side. But I blew it round 1 missed the dial, launched the car at too hig of rpm and broke out!
Bought back in, drilled the tree in round 2 .004 to a .247 the other guy ran his # with a 1 but eh kinda late.
Round 3 Earn the bye but even # of cars. I edged the guy a bit on the tree but had a good lead on the big end. Tap the brakes and coast to a win.
Now I can use my Bye an chose to run in the right lane where I havent raced yet.
This is where all gose wrong. Tree comes down I let the clutch go and bam bam bam, wheel hop. I back off a soon as I can and the get back on it. Shift to second and BOOOM an the car jerks hard left. Limped the car back to the pits.
Rear diff gone yet again! an it was on a bye into the semis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad opening weekend I'm like in last place now lost round 2 on sunday also.
but there are 12 more races left.

Bummer about losing on broken parts. We've all been there!
Seemed like you were doing your job driving though, and there's plenty of season left!
Good luck getting her fixed and back out to the track again soon!

Jake... man that sucks!
Atleast you have a good long season ahead of you. Time to put a rear in that car man! I'll see you out at GLD soon enough.
You still at Horter? I'm over at Heiser now since Mark(SMOKDU) did a little headhunting to get me over here
