3 Day Race Report-Sunday a big win! Day 1 Friday,
Pulled into San Antonio Raceway at 6:00pm. This night was a $500.00 to win bracket race. 1st round, I race a buddy of mine that I race every week at HRP(not cool to drive 3 hours and race someone you race every week) I cut a .032 light to his .045. I run a 6.68 with a 7 on a 6.69 dial to his winning 6.19 on a 6.17. Dang brakeouts. I did drive the topend very well.
2nd round(buy back) I cut a .022 light to his .065 and run a dead on 6.68 with a 2 to his 7.18 on a 7.16 dial.
3rd round I cut a .035 light to his red light -.006 and run a 6.66 with a 9 on a 6.67 dial.
4th round(semis) I cut a very slow .122 light to his .085. I run a 6.65 with a 7 on a 6.66 dial to his 7.07 on a 7.05 dial.
Day 2 Saturday
I was running 2 tech cards. I made it to the quarters(round 5) on both cards. In round 5, I went -.003 red and ran a dead on 6.68 with a 7 to the other guys, .089 light a a 2 over 6.92 on a 6.90 dial. On the other tech card I went .012 on the tree to his .033. I ran a 6.66 with a 9 on a 6.67 dial to his 7.25 on a 7.23 dial. I should have touched the brakes at the strip.
Day 3 Sunday
Ran ran 4 tech cards this day. I ran 2 in Top Et and 2 in N/E
In the Top Et class I made it to round 3 on both tech cards. In round 3 I got beat by dragesters on both tech cards. I broke out on the 1st one with a 6.65 with a 9 on a 6.66 dial and the dragester run a 4.97 on a 4.95 dial. On the 2nd tech card I got beat at the tree. I cut a .033 light to the other guys .012. He ran a 4.75 on a 4.74 dial to my 6.67 on a 6.66 dial.
In the Footbrake class, I went out in the 4th round on 1 tech card. I cut a .045 light to his .055 light but I broke out with a 6.66 with a 9 on a 6.70 dial.
Now for the good news, I went on to win the race on the other tech card in 8 rounds. I cut a .022 light to his .076 light. I ran a 6.70 with a 2 on a 6.69 dial. He ran a 6.17 on a 6.15 dial. What a great win!
My poor car, Her tongue was hanging out at the end of the weekend. 26 very hard passes in 3 days.
I want to thank My wife(FEAR), Madman, Thunder Racing and LME for all ya'lls support.
This coming weekend we will be out at HRP for the 3rd points race of the season.

Damn Coach, that's a lot of passes. I'll bet the tranny temp was a little warm if you getting lapped.

Thanks everyone. It was a very fun weekend.
We put alot of passes on my car every season. I change the oil/filter every 2 weekend reguardless of how many passes on the car. I also change the tranny fluid every 30 passes. I just ordered another set of slicks, they should be here on Friday. This new set will be the 3rd set this season.
