Default Horrible times

I ran for the first time since i did the cam swap. I ran horrible, no DR's and 4.10s lol. i think the fastest i went was like 15.4 with a 2.6 60' LOL. However, i still trapped 105.
track prep was horrible, and we are at 47xx feet. thats some of it, but mostly no traction. ideally here i should run mid to low 13s i believe. i couldnt even floor the throttle til halfway through 3rd gear. i lost to two SRT4s. Oh well, i know it can do better, if i would throw out some cash on DR's on my 16 inch rims. 18 inch wheels+michelin pilot sports+ 4.10s+ Cammed LS1=bad news. Go ahead an laugh, i deserve it ha.

Nah man, Im not gonna laugh because thats what is going to happen to me! My car will be all done and tuned by tommorow. Installed new cam ( 243/249 .613/.618 ). I got 4400 stall and 4.10s. Full rear suspension but tires are POS 315 nittos. Thats not going to be good! Oh well... gotta give it a shot anyway. For YOur 16s, get some MTs drag radials..they are very good tires! Good luck man

Yeah, its just that i dont want to spend 300 on tires when i dont go to the track much, and they wont last very long. its not that i dont know how to drive the car, its just that the track is so slick here. no track prep for street night. when i race on the street, i dont have traction issues, and i can slam the gears. i have beat many a car with it.

You have NO idea how bad it is lol. Its not a top dollar track and one of the only ones in Colorado. Part of the reason, on street night there is no track prep. I dont go there expecting record times but to pay 20 bucks and get as many runs as your car can handle is pretty sweet. And its only 10 minutes from my house.

Whats up Justin? I forgot you were on this board.
