Default CAN THIS Happen?

I know this kid with a 2000 Camaro Z28 and he is claiming he can get his car into the 11's and says he can probably run 11.7's all day.

He has
Headers
Catted Offroad Y-Pipe
Slp Loudmouth
SLp Lid
Slp Underdrive Pulley
Fan Control
160 thermostat
Cam
Automatic
2.73's for gear
Converter
Street or drag radials

Is this possible? im open for your guys thoughts....

depends on what type of converter, but i highly doubt it. Maybe low 12's. I dont know why he would cam it with 2.73 gears

So EASY to get that car into the 11.7's. My 6spd full weight car ran 11.6 @ 117 with a shitty 1.7 60', cam, and bolt ons only. Stock heads.. no ls6 intake or anything.

A cammed and stalled auto no matter what gear can easily hit 11.7

115mph? You must be putting about 380-400hp to the ground?

Hardly, I bet he just had some small weight reduction.

My car, with 376 rwhp went 117 @ 3575 raceweight.

I'll bet that car will go high 11's with traction, my stick car with a **** 1.6 60 foot at 3750 with me in it granny shifting with 400 rw went 12.2@114, I'm sure an auto car will do better.

friend of mine with mac headers gutted cats lid, LM catback and a set of 3.73's stock internal went 12.4 on motor, his car made like 270 to the tires, on a dry 100 shot it runs 11.6, and was at about 375 ot the tires on that... this kid's car with a cam is probably around the same power as the guy I know was with a 100 shot, I see no reaosn why it shouldn't run very similar.
