Default My new LME motor ROCKED!

I took my new LS1 347 LME motor out for a test race Saturday at HRP.

Needless to say she hauled the mail.

In a DA of 4263, temp of 97.4
Rt-.025
60-1.427
330-4.207
1/8 mile-6.567
1/8 mph 103.91
1000 ft-8.625
1/4 mile 10.370
1/4 mph 128.79

With the old 347 motor we went 10.326 @ 128.30 mph with a DA of 893 and a temp of 59.3 back on March 4th, 2006. I ran the numbers and this new motor would have went 10.14!

The really cool thing is the Boys at LME built me this motor in 3 days. Yes, I said 3 days from start to finish.

I am in the middle of a points chase(we are #1(8 round lead) in the points at HRP. We didn't want to miss a race. LME came though big time. My hat goes off to him.

The race report for this week was ok. Ww were trying to workout the new combo bugs. We went out 1st round in Top Et. I went .017 on the tree to her .057. I dial a 10.41 and broke out with a 10.40 with a frickin 9! I just took to much stripe. The motor is still breaking in.

1st round of N/E I got lucky. The other guy red lighted. Thank goodness because I blew the tires off big time.

2nd round I lost because of blowing the tires off again. I was not a very happy camper. I called Madman. With his advise we fixed the problem. I dropped the tire psi 1 pound and made 1 last hit. She rocked and rolled to the 10.37. The good thing was this race was just a money race not a points race.

This Saturday is our 6th points race (out of 8). I can't wait for this weekend.

Congrats Coach, good to hear she's finding her stride with the new bullet. And with time she'll loosen up and only run faster, especially with better air

Good luck with the points chase, keep us posted!

The rule is 300 passes or the end of the season. Which ever comes 1st.
