Default Well, I think I need suspension.

Had the car at the track last Friday and ran a new best, but not what I was hoping for. 12.18 @ 114mph, 1.88 60 ft. I wish that the track I go to would prep a little better but I think with that kind of mph it should easily hit an 11 with a little traction. I'll try to get a pick up of the burnout and launch in a little bit.

What kind of tires are you using? What suspsension mods do you have? By the picture, it looks like it's leaving pretty hard.

The M/T drag radials. No suspension mods as of yet other than removing the front sway bar. I know it looks like it is leaving really nice in the pic, I was actually really suprised when I saw it. Most of the time I am getting a ton of wheel hop or it is just spinning. I guess that it is hooking initially and then spinning but I don't really know. I am thinking that a torque arm, some lower control arms and either some et streets or slicks should get the job done.

Don't give up on the M/T radials, science out the rear suspension. They are a great tire.

I've seen excellent 60 fts from other people, but like I said before the track prep definetly leaves a little to be desired. Gonna start modding the suspension. Thanks for the input!

I know all about bad track prep, track prep usually makes about a .15 - .2 difference in my 60's. I see you have 4.10's, ever thought of going to a 28" tire? With that gear, and a bigger foot print... I think you could have some awesome launches.

Actually, I haven't even thought about tire sizes. I bought the rims used from a member on here and they already had the tires mounted on them. I figured I'd burn those off and then see what my options where.

You know that track prep is bad when I am hooking the same with these rims and tires as I was with 275/35/18 BFG drag radials.
