Default Another new best last night w/ video

12.23 @ 110.84, 1.74 60ft. +825 DA
Cam only, nearly full weight, Vig 2800, stock '98 heads and HGs.

Here is the video, the SRT-4 is my buddy Ben:

I was able to make three runs at Richmond Dragway last night, but only one clean one. My trans did not want to shift into second gear on the first two runs. I guess it didn't like having the WOT Shifts by MPH table zeroed out. This last run was with lowered shift points, I kept them ~6300 while confirming that the trans problem was in the tune.

I was very happy with the first times out since the cam install! I haven't been able to put it on a dyno yet, but I'm hoping to get it in the 11s by tweaking the tune and shift points, along with some better air. I was still getting ~1.5 degs of KR last night and I have no idea what my AFR is right now. Near future plans are to have the Vig re-stalled, freshen up the trans, and install the Transgo kit sitting in my garage.

I had the rear seat backs and seat belts out of the car, along with the spare and jack. 1/4 tank of gas.

Good run. Amazing air we had in the area on Friday night, huh? I wish I'd have gone up to Richmond now instead of staying around here. The DA was actually around +700 down in Elizabeth City, NC for my only good pass. Post up your incrementals for us 1/8th milers to compare if it's not too much trouble.

Yeah, it was surprisingly good air for this time of year!

I'm running 3.23s in the stock 10 bolt, on 255/50R16 M/T DRs. Stock suspension with no front sway bar. If I don't make it into the 11s, I'll pull some serious weight out of this thing. I run on the stock wheels too.

I'll post the slip details tomorrow, they are in my car right now.

Congrats man! I'm new to the Richmond area and hope to meet some Fbody guys at the track sometime. It will be nice racing at under 1000DA to see what my SS is capable of. Shoot me a PM when you guys are heading out to the track.
