got good times on minimal mods finally took the car to a track last night to see what she could do. i was pleased to say the least for the mods i have. i ran it twice. only bad thing besides its only an 1/8th mile is it doenst give a trap speed for the 1/8th on the slip, just the trap for the 500ft here are results:
Car:2002 A4 Z28 w/ 2.73 gearing
Mods: tbb, !ram air, MTI lid, k&N Filter, cutout just after the Y, Y2k vette wheels, eagle F1 GSD3 285s, stock converter
1st run coming off idle:
60:2.087
500:7.333
500mph:86.21
1/8:8.695
2nd run launching at 1400-1500 but readlighted:
60: .000 (s10 broke the 60ft. clock a few runs before me)
500: 7.159
500mph:84.91
1/8: 8.325
with the graph i was looking at that converts to a 12.7 quarter mile. whys my car as fast as it is? i hear of 12 second stock LS1's but never automatics. i race other Ls1's from time to time and its usually no contest. even beat an 03 Z06 and and 03 cobra...... any guesses?
