High hopes this fall!
This past SaturdayI made 6 passes in 90* heat. The DA was approx +1800 So I wasnt expecting much.
1st run 1.63 60'
11.76@117.98
Not bad. Pretty much what I was expecting with the heat considering my best run was back in March.
2nd run 1.74 60'
11.95@117.88
3rd run 1.63 60'
11.666@118.76
mph gettin higher for some reason.
4th run 1.63 60'
coasted to 15.2 since it was a BYE round
5th run 1.63 60'
11.661@118.92
6th run 1.63 60'
11.62@119.52
Only .04 seconds off my best ever in 1800DA weather! Look like she'll be flying come fall.
How accurate are DA correction calculations? NHRA correction factor says it would have been 11.38@122 at sea level, am I setting myself up for disappointment if I should expect that in fall weather conditions?

I have run .43 seconds better from summer crap air to winter like conditions(water freezing in burnout box) Some of that may have been due to knock retard in the hot weather but, I didn't have a way to log the runs back then.
I'd say .24 seconds would not be unbelievable.

My car is running 7.50s @ 91 & I am begining to think that my car is slow for a cam car with a PT4400,
Sorry not trying to jack your thread. Just want to compare my 1/8mile times to yours.

j/k, on a serious note, its a 6speed. And my 1/8 mile generally is about 7.4-7.5@92-94mph (depending on weather). Keep in mind my 1/8th MPH might be a little higher since its a 6speed and it will gain more in the 2nd 1/8th mile than an automatic car.
