60ft = traction + power + other variables

Did you spin? If not, it's okay for your heavyweight car. So you are stock rims, AC, 6 pt rollbar? But your launch tune, heavy 3900+ raceweight, and converter choice can all make the car 60ft not as good as a lighter car.

I went 1.50 spinning on 26x10 ET Drags at 3600 raceweight like four years ago.

Didn't spin at all. Guess I need more power out of the hole.
Yep, stock wheels in front. AC, stereo, nothing stripped out.

I was actually surprised I did that well. Nitrous wasn't working so couldn't try a shot out of the hole.

I've seen some full weight cars cutting 1.6's cuz they don't have enough power or torque multiplication to come out harder. I bet with the nitrous your combo would go high 1.4's...

Awesome!
I went a best of a 1.51 in my vert @ 3480lbs.
At our weights MT recommends an S tire (Stiff Side wall).
What tire and gear are you running?
I am running a 28x10.5S and 4.56
What converter are you running?
Also, is your 383 a stroker or all bore?
You definitely have the power

ET Drags 26x10x15. Not sure about the S. I borrowed them from a friend to see if I like them. Gears are stock 3.23

Vig 3200 which was flashing about 3600-3800.

Its a 383 stroker.

ED,
Nice set-up 383 stroker, boost, spray and Vig 3200
A little more gear would help your track times.
How were you launching your car?
My brother has the same converter and loves it, he launches off idle for his best 60's.
Might try launching from about 2,000rpm to get some boost and still be able to hit the convert some.
With a good 60's you have at least a low 10sec. car
Bob
