Default bone stock 02 SS a4 times

car is a full weight t-top car, leather, 12 disc, basically every option except chrome wheels. had a 1/4 tank of gas, gallon of water (about 8 pounds lol) and my school stuff.

Runs were at about 1200' elevation, not sure about the DA, and I'd have to guess the temp was around 85*.

I was at a imports vs domestics thing so I was really more focused on being out in front of the car next to me and not getting beat by a honda haha. First race was against an SRT-4

reaction- .140
60' - 2.083
1/8th ET- 8.777
1/8th mph - 82.223
1/4 ET- 13.634
1/4 MPH - 101.293 ...

I let off when I was bouncing into 3rd and got back in it, figured the car has a little more in it and let it cool off for 2 hours. He ran a 15.021 @ 95

I was up next to some little ricer so I let him get out on me a bit and then just drove around him.

reaction - .902
60' - 2.025 (stock suspension whaaat)
1/8th ET - 8.662
1/8th MPH - 82.968
1/4 ET - 13.426
1/4 MPH - 103.111

this one ran a 14.87 @ 95, and I don'teven remember what kind of car it was.

But I think that's pretty good for my 100% stock car down to the filter, plugs, everything.

Why is your car bouncing off the rev limiter and its auto?

Nice run and great 60 foot for a bone stock auto (if you're running on non-drag radials). On the 2-3 shift she hit the rpm chip?

Yeah I'm not sure what was up with it bouncing off the limiter... it's got a stock tranny, stock gears, stock computer and I was leaving it in drive. I never have that problem on the street and thankfully I wasn't on the bottle or anything :yikes:

The car is on like half-bald KDW's and is still stock suspension, my last SS leaving at idle cut like a 2.00 sixty foot with no sway bar and no right rear strut and cut springs. So I'm pretty confident that this car is quite a bit faster.

Yes 1bad93lx, this is the infamous Oso.

Nice times, I was there that night but didn't run. I waited until the next weekend to run. Do A4's trap slower than M6's. I ran a traction limited 13.42 at 108.7 with a 2.3 60' and it was only my second time to the track.

Got any pics of your car? My last A4 trapped 105 so I don't know what's up haha. Probably the weather.

Mine used to hit the chip on 1-2 shift, then I started leaving her in OD from Colonel's advice. No problems in 116,000 miles since There's a thread on gear selection for A4 users, click here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/removed-locked-thread-graveyard/430639-a4-guys-what-gear-do-you-drag-race.html

Usually, yes. Less power chewed through a manual, but slightly harder to launch a stick versus auto on street tires.

I love those wheels. I don't remember seeing you out there though, but there were a TON of cars.

I have a trans tune in my Truck and if I run it in "3" instead of Drive the same thing happens, although my Rev limiter was upped to 6700, so it just hangs up there on the 2-3 shift... that's what I get for listening to someone who runs the same thing and way slower than me! ....
