to slow for my mods
i do 9.068 in the 1.8th at 88mph with the mods listed below except the trans and t.c and when i finish each run i can feel my tranny struggling to move the car can it be that my old tranny was really holding me back that much cuz with this new one it feels wayyyyy differant can i hope to see some real improvements next time i go and based on the time and mph whats a good 1/4 time? well and i am hoping to go to the cali speedway this month.

From what I can see in your sig, it looks like you have: 383 w/stock heads and cam, 9.5:1 compression (why so low?), converter, mail order tune, stock exhaust manifolds, DRs and a 100 shot? Time sounds about right for these mods. I bet the compression ratio and the fact that your motor can breathe with stock heads and cam is really slowing you down.
