Not a bad run for your 1st time out on your new set-up. Congrats on the 11's :cheer:

For your rear. Understand what you want to do with your car. Drag only, street/drag, part time drag? 12-bolt, 9"? Future power adders? 4.10, 4.30? Size of tires?

Stock tranny? Converter?

All questions you are going to have to answer before you see mid/low 11's

Again congrats on 11's.

Just for comparison sake, my 3755# car has run 11.67@115 (1.58 60'), but normally runs 11.70-11.75 (1.60 60'). It's an A4 car with a stock 10 bolt still...

Congrats on 11's.

Im in the same boat man. I didnt break mine yesterday at the track, but I didnt want to chance it any more. My last pass, and my fastest was 11.98 at 117.7 with a 1.81 60 ft time. I have an M6 with 4.10's in it, and didnt want to push it any further past that.

I average 1.5x 60' on a stock 10 bolt with stock 3.23 gears, it's as stock as it came from the factory. It has 128,xxx miles on it too..... It is seasoned!

TA Girdle, Richmond 3.73 gears, stock axles with ARP wheel studs, and the axle tubes have been welded all the way around. Car weighs 2850lbs with the drag radials and a full bottle of nitrous.

Thanks for the info, I'm sure part of yours not breaking yet is the light weight of the car. My car is a fat pig, around 3500 w/o driver. I refuse to give up my AC in Florida.

My 10-bolt has lasted through 310+ passes, and much abuse. See times in sig.

Current plans are to rebuild this 10-bolt with new goodies, and set it up correctly. It's still daily-driven right now, but it's howling like a banshee.

10-bolts can last behind an A4 *if* they're setup correctly and you treat them right. I.E. no wheel-hop or anything.
