Default Track times for my 00 WS6

I went to the track today and ran a best of:

60'........ 2.088
330....... 5.773
1/8........ 8.773
MPH....... 83.01
1000...... 11.338
1/4......... 13.529
MPH....... 102.82

It was 75 degrees, 50% humidity and a 15 MPH head wind. My mods are in my sig. and I had DRs. I think I have something wrong with my brakes....I could not hold the car at the line if I went over about 1,500 RPMs.

nothing is wrong with your brakes, any stock stall auto car will push at that rpm. nice 60' for street tires.

I was using Hoosier QTPs......I should be able to get 1.9x 60' times. I'll have to practice more.

oh yeah...well, i honestly wouldn't expect much more out of a stock stall 273 car. 1.9 is about the limit with no other mods.

3.23s, I believe all WS6s have 3.23s if they are A4s.

That is correct. All WS6 and SS A4's came with 3.23's. Only A4 Formulas, Trans Ams and Z28's could come with 2.73's and a lot of them had 3.23's as well. You check the drivers door for the RPO. GU2=2.73 and GU5=3.23 gears.

But since he has a WS6 then he definately has the 3.23 gears. Nice times OP. Now get a big stall and say hello to 12's

Awesome runs. I trapped almost the same as you, but my 1/8th mile trap was only 78.9mph. You definitely own me on the launch!!! Good stuff!

Try stalling it a bit lower. I launch mine between 900-1000 rpm on the stock stall and 3.23 gears and my 60 foots are 1.98-2.05 depending on weather conditions.

Good times considering the weather conditions. Throw a stall on it and in good weather you'll be movin out!
