hey everyone ...this was my 2nd time at the track with the mods i have (results and mods can be found here https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/920243-hotcam-only-car-check-out.html )....car ran great tonight i made a few changes to my combo by switching out the factory hurst for a pro 5.0 (made a huge difference) and taking the plunge and hooking up some 255 M/T et street radials.

i went relatively easy on the car because i have a stock 10 bolt rear but i was able to pull a best of 2.04 60ft (i know i know) and run 12.70 at 113 MPH.....there is obviously more left in it....the car is getting a set of ported 241 heads and a 9'' rear with 4.10s

comments..what does everone think it will do with the next wave of mods comming in?

I think there is something wrong with my car. I have the 12 bolt and 4.11 gears. I just drop the skirt and start trying a little harder. I could only manage a 12.65 at 110, but my 60 was better, 1.86.

i wouldnt say there is something wrong with it...there just 2 different cars..maybe it in the tune man..i got a great street tune from caspernicus on this site...pm me if you are interested in getting in contact with him...very affordable....i was trapping in the 110s when i was having alot of tire slip in second gear....are you slipping at all from the 1-2 shift?

well you got your 12s but i'm sure you're not satisfied either. i think you could have pulled 12.40s if you wanted to push that 10 bolt anymore. can't wait to see what you run when your car is finished.

Nope. As far as the tune, Im probably going to be buying HP tuners soon.

Nice. Get that 60' down and it's a 12.3-12.4 car with a broken 10-bolt. With those new mods, no reason you shouldn't be hitting bottom 12s compared to this setup.
