Default New Best At Track Yesterday!!!!!

I ran at the local 1/8 mile yesterday after putting on my LCA relocation brackets on.

60' 1/8 mph
1.61 7.49 91.8

I ran a supercharged Mach 1-the guy waited until I went to run and hurried to his car and got to run me.

60' 1/8 mph
me 1.641 7.51 91.4
him n/a 7.71 91.9

mods are

5.3 stg 2.5 PRC heads
torquer v.2 cam232/234
FAST 92/92
Yank SS4000 stall
SLP lid
Pacesetter headers and ORY
Hooker catback with E cutout
built 4l60E
Moser 12 bolt w/3.73 gears
Adjustable Spohn LCA
Adjustable Spohn Panhard bar
UMI LCA relocation brackets
everything else is stock

I feel I should be faster but for some reason it is not. I did spin just a little off the line but it felt alot better than before the LCA brackets.

Remember it's summertime and that slows you down somewhat.

Get the 60 foots into the 1.5x range and that'll also chop off some time.

Where abouts is it? I pretty much lived in a condo behind walmart in NMB for over a year. I had heard of MB dragway but couldn't ever find it.

I wished it was. I do not understand why it is not faster. I do know that it puts down 401rwhp. I think that is kind of low. I feel that it has more in it just don't know how to find it. I have tuned it with HP tuners and I am beginning to wonder if it is the tune. ?????

Get on 22 heading towards 501 from 17 turn left at hwy 90. Go about 4 miles maybe a little more the road you turn left on is just across from a place called Vereen's Turf Farm. The road is called Starbluff RD. The dragway is down 1/2 mile on the right. There is a sign at the turn off that says dragway.

Slow! Maybe you and Kyle will race before the transplant? If not, I'll be sure to make things fun for him at the shop lol

Thumbs up

I think the car moves out pretty damn good considering the heat. 7.49 is good for mid 11's. What tires do you have? I borrowed a set of MT 255/50-16's about a month ago... it wasn't pretty. The car left decent, started spinning at the top of first, headed for the wall on the 1-2. I'm not much faster than you in the 1/8 ET wise, 7.417 - but I put up 95.54 MPH pedaling and steering to keep it off the wall.

I think you'll go 20's this winter with you car as is, and a little faster if you keep tweaking and dialing it in. From the looks, you don't have a gutted racer - so you're posting good times for a full weight car IMHO.

Yea full weight down to the rear seat still in the car. I do not even have a Underdrive pulley yet. The temp was 93 deg. at the track the day I got the 7.49. I ran a 1.61 60' Spinning some off the line.
I am running some 4 year old 26x10.5-16 MT ET streets on 16" ABS chrome wheels.

I'd say it's damn good then. My car is full weight pretty much... I have Weld Pro Stars and no front sway bar. But everything else is still there down to the 12 disc changer, spare & jack, and rear seats. (street car)

You've got a good combination, and it works obviously. Wait for the cooler weather and let it rip. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the results. Me, I am swapping to 275/60-15's and waiting for some cooler air. It was 145* in the staging lanes the day I ran my car. Not fun, I was sunburnt all to hell and lost 3.5 lbs that day.

Hey man I cant remember what your times were before. What were they? Also, its starting to run closer to what it should.

You need to open up that exhaust. You reall need to open it up to a 4" merge and 4" cutout before it necks down to 3".

Your car is full weight I see. You ever thought of pulling some weight? I still think you should be able to get mid 1.5 60' even in this weather.

I was at the beach last week but didnt take any of my tuning stuff with me. Im going back next month.

I went to Hard Rock Park ..... it was cool. Led Zepellin the ride was good as was the Bohemian Rhapsody show.
