Default Great Day of testing we are on our way

Well we got out yesterday to run the Pro 8 @ E-Town and get some testing in. As everyone knows we have been having a lot of issues getting the car off the line. Well last week we put that behind us and just to make sure of that we went and test on a street day track. The track was full of street tire cars and as expected slick with few slick cars to lay down the rubber. We still managed to get her off the line with a NPB 60ft of 1.28 not to bad also had a NPB of 193.27 mph that’s showing some power and we got a lot more in her, we will see 200 mph for sure. Now for the best news we found out what that 4.97 from last week was good for in the quarter how about a new LS record 7.49 @ 189.79. We used the day to play with the car and try to get the nose down, shave some weight and lower our 60ft’s. This was an unexpected bonus. Huge thanks to my crew Angello and Robby, Job (Turbo People), Rich (PCHS), Chris and Tommy (NRG TECH), Leo (Carroll’s Rod and Race Craft) and Nick (American Racing Headers) I couldn’t have done with out you guy’s. We are making great progress each and every time out. I can’t wait until we get out on a good track and see what this car is really capable of. I am feeling real good about this season it was a long time coming thanks again.

BTW Video to follow need to wait on my boy Edgar thanks man

Damn you! LOL!!! Congrats on the record, what were the complete incrementals on that pass. 60ft - 330ft - weight, turbo's etc... I don't think my 106 will be a match for your 88's but we will give it hell for sure.

See ya at the track soon!

Thanks guys

We were running our warhawk setup a 454 with twin 88's we have yet to turn her up. Max boost on that run was just under 33lbs we know she will make 40 plus. The car was at 3540 on that pass we have an extra 80lbs on the nose to compensate for the LSX block. I won't be going through this hell again once I put the other motor in. We had over 200 lbs of ballast in the car. We are removing wieght slowly we took out 50 at the end of the day yesterday cut her down to 3490. next time out we will take out another 50 if all goes well. We can get the car to 3200 with the warhawk setup.

Here is the break down

1.303 60'
3.373 330
4.975 1/8
155.15 MPH
6.336 1000
7.491 1/4
189.79 MPH

See ya soon
