the car was dynoed last year by cartek making 366 hp at wheels.car is hard to start when hot if that helps.tried launching anywhere from idle to 3500 on the brake not much of a difference in et or 60 ft

109 mph this time of year with that rwhp seems about right for a full weight car.
Your 60' is pretty bad.
Have any vids of the car at the track?
Hey you're like 2 towns down from me, I'm in Hazlet.

start with the normal stuf. hows the tune up parts? plugs wires filters? the hot starts issue could be tune related or some thing else. and you should be traping more then 109 even in the heat.
whats your exhaust set up?
whats your exhaust set up?

Are you heating up your slicks enough? I was having a similar problem with my drag radials and it turned out I wasn't getting enough of a burnout. I went from a 1.88 to a 1.58 60ft after I started heating the tires up real good. If you can improve your 60ft down to a 1.6 or better, that alone will put you in the 12.2 or quicker range.

i had it tuned with borla catback no cats and now running not cat true duals dynomax bullets dumped no h or x pipe. no matter wat i do for a burn out long or short doesnt make difference.idk even if burnout was good shouldn't i be trapping higher

That could certainly affect it. Why don't you call Cartek and have them check your tune or at least see what they say about the exhaust change.
I know Julio wants to check the tune after "EVERY" change-even wants to dyno the car with the tires you race on.

What are you shifting at?
Whats the track Alt.?
Have you checked fuel pressure?
You should be 60fting WAY better with those 4.11s in an A4 & that stall if its hooking. Start checking all the little thinks 1st., make sure the MAS coils are clean, run a FP test, check plugs/wires, batt/alt. voltage, the hard starting when warm is a strong indicator that something is wrong somewhere.

It's the 60" that's killing your ET!
First question, are you saying there's no merge pipe at all? Cause you wrote no h or x pipe.
I'd try staging and just let it idle, then when the thrid light comes up stab the pedal, no reving or anything. See how that works, that seemed to be the best way for me.
Do you have any suspension parts?

Your 60ft. does need addressing, i would kill for that 60ft. though with my M6, you need to always check the Barometeric Pressure & calculate the DA before you race that day/night, your MPH should be better too, but depending on how bad the DA was, you could be looseing alot, your exhaust could be some of the problem like was mentioned (i don't know), but a 109 trap speed is good for 12.2-12.3 range if your in the 1.7s on the 60fts. I myself can & will loose 2 mph from week to week in these summer months & around .2, I would think for sure you have an issue if the car fells sour leaving with that stall/gears your running, you should be in the 1.7s easy, the lower MPH also says its not up too full strength, i would think you should be going 112-113.

its a 98 with a 01 engine.but at the track with my dad watch it leaves kinda dead but down the track it builds up and srceams on topend. i think the exhaust is killing the torque out of the whole because that was only thing changed sinced it was tuned
