First real runs with the car...8s letting off at the 1000' Got my licensing done and out of the way 2 weeks ago so I took the car to the track to make some more serious shakedowns...Unfortunately, I ran out of gear at the 1000' mark and let off (haven't had a chance to swap to my 1/4 mile gear set...thought I'm might get lucky...yeah right)

That's good to hear. I know how much you want to get that monster dialed in.
Trust me I know, mines so close to getting out I can taste the burnout smoke!! Good luck.
