Default Just under 3K for a Tenth....

Went to the track last wensday in the SS.

My best time before was 13.25 @ 108.8 w/ 2.2 60', that's with a Lid/GMMG.

Best time last week 13.15 @ 107.24 w/ 1.9 60' with Perv mods and a Moser 9inch with 4.11's (M6 car).

I think I can get a better 60 out of her just ran out of time for another pass, but I thought the 4.11's would wake it up A LOT more ,or maybe it was wishful thinking.

*Note* my previous pass was in march

What tires are you running on?

The weight of that rearend doesn't help much either...other than the non-breaking part..hah

keep in mind that you are going to experience more drivetrain loss through your 9" than you did with your 10 bolt. So you are actually now putting less power to the ground.

Get a set of sticky tires and do a 5k clutch dump, then you will be really utilizing that rear end and you will see better times.

also you have to factor in DA, and blah blah blah.

lower tire pressure, get them warmer, you shouldn't be blowing off et streets w/ stock horsepower levels.. she has a lot more in her.. good luck!

if you still have the stock clutch then you may have some slippage going on.....i know i did. After i got it hot trying to heat the tires it would slip like hell.

Surprized ha, i went to 4.11s & a 9", i though too the gear change would wake it up ALOT, but it didn't, so don't feel bad, but i feel in the long run mine got faster, my MPH is accually UP from the 10 bolt, but i'm finding out its more Driving skills with these "stick" cars more then anything, you should hook really well with those ET streets, but you need to get them warm, they are not like a DR, Bias tires take more to get them warm, i can do a **** burn out on my Hoosier DRs & i'm good for a 5K dump EVERY pass, i'm also running a Ram clutch, with your stock clutch, once it hooks it won't like it & it will start slipping.

i think you guys need the driver mod.

a 9" with sticky tires and steep gears is the pinnacle for low 60' times in an m6. suspension is optional haha. no reason the car shouldn't be going 1.7 or 1.8 at the slowest.

the car in sig ran the same times you are with a lid and flowmaster muffler, on street tires. my 2nd pass down the dragstrip lol. practice practice practice.

put about 13 psi in those tires and heat the **** out of them. if it still won't hook - i suggest you stop trying to launch on the beach and find a race track.

The Tires are the ET Street DR's sry for the confusion, and yeah I know I need more track time with her, I'd just love to muster a new 12.80 out of her as she sits.

Well I think you've identified your problems.

9" loses power.. and adds weight. Great upgrade, but it's not going to make you faster until you're to the point of it not breaking compared to a 10 bolt . The gears should make a world of diff, going from 2.73 to 3.42 in my boltons/stock converter lt1 dropped .5 sec off of my ET.

Definitely check what amount of pressure you're running in those tires. My 4000 stalled light boltons ls1 ROLLS OUT on my 275 nittos, even on the shitty streets on this side of Kansas. I started with them at 30psi like the car recommends and it was spin spin spin. Dropped them to about 25 and they hooked better, but still spun. They're at 20 right now and do not spin AT ALL from any roll, but will still light up from a stalled up dig. My friend noticed his hook best on the street with about 20 in them in his baby cammed/stalled 355 lt1. Nitto reccomends no less than 15psi for street duty, I bet the mickeys are similar.

We should setup a kansas cruise some time. I'd really like to try my car at KCIR as well.

Hopefully you have better luck next time out.. it's all in the tire pressure.

Hays, KS. We're all heading to great bend tomorrow night providing it doesn't rain. So you'll see some shitty times posted from my friends and I tomorrow night. Gotta love it, GREAT cool weather all week then friday night test and tune rolls around and 60% rain.

We have quite the fbody/lsx gathering going on around here. From boltons to 750rwhp blown TA, and there is even a 1000+rwhp turbo ls1 around. He ran low 11s and trapped low 140s blowing off the tires, m6, leaving by rolling out at idle on the line .

We should set up a fun cruise before the snow hits.

It's the truth, LOL. $500 will drop you a couple tenths in the 13s, 12s, even 11s. When you go any faster than that, the money drains and the car hardly moves

Shitty deal lol. One of my friends toasted his clutch last night at the track also.

I got mine in to the 12s last night at the track..then the humidity really started setting in and the track wouldn't hook at all.
