Default 7.50 1/8th all motor HOSS

So the car was spinning through third gear across the finish line.... 2.0 60ft times... im not too worried cause the times arent just terrible but not good enough... the car has cutouts before the mufflers and with the cutouts closed it consistently ran a tenth of a second faster than running open cutouts... The car is an M6 but im a very experienced driver and times were consistently a little bit faster with the cutouts closed... it seems *** backwards to me i just wanted to see if anyone had any simple explanations, like maybe the car has been tuned for one or the other?... its 2 1/2 x pipe with pro flo twisters ran all the way to the back out tips, cutouts are right before the mufflers..

My car does the same thing, also dyno'd at 12 hp less with the cutout open. Tuner said it starting pulling timing at the top of rpm's with the cutout open for some reason...I also ran a full tenth slower in the 1/4 mile with a 30 minute cool down and nothing changed except the cutout open.

Yea i guess there might be some truth to back pressure??... But ahh mine still sounds like one bad bitch with both of the cutouts open at full throttle!!

What mods does the car have? That's a really good time with that bad 60ft....about 11.7-.8.

What kind of tires were you on? I assume just regular street tires with a 2.0 60ft time?
