Default front suspension for 4th gen f body

What type of suspension do you run on your drag car?
Struts, coil over with a-arms, lowered or not lowered?
just want to know what alot of guys are using. I'm thinking of going with 2" drop struts and adj lowers.

Is there a kit that eliminates the upper A-arm?

Yeah, struts. How are folks attaching the top of the strut, and the lower a-arm to the strut? Do you need a completely different K-member? Sorry if for being a little off topic for what your asking, but I think this is the route I want as well.

if you change to the 3rd gen style spindles, and some other stuff. You can safe a bunch of weight, doing that style setup.

Alot of classes don' allow a strut conversion, something to keep in mind.

The burkhart setup is 100% quality, and for a race car the best choice out.

i'm not looking to compete in any particular class. I was just looking for the trickest lighest components out there. I don't see the big deal it's a direct bolt on piece.

kit(s)?

I saw one kit, that requires a motor plate, Do you guys have any other kits available?

Also, what about a 3rd gen front suspension setup on a 4th gen car? It saves some weight for sure, and opens up the drag brake options a bit. I have seen one of these before, but it used $1200 AFCO struts iirc, so thats a little out of most peoples budget.

Their website is so vague. Doesn't go into ANY detail at all. I'm assuming you got the :

CF-4900 2" Drop Spindle Struts 4th Generation $1099

The picture on the website looks a little different than what you have on your car. I see you are running a spindle mount too.

Yea they are double adjustables. Last time I weighed the car it was 3336 with me and 1/2 tank of fuel. Im doing alot to the car now to get it lower. I dropped a ton of weight with the AJE front, not sure how much but it is substantial. Very great products!!
