I just hate doing things twice so now im done. I stand by my decision. And to be a ***, theres a lot of people running FAST times on small tires, why you got such a big tire? Just bustin your ***** man, lol.

To TRY and hook it on the street. I can roll it out fairly quick on the street with that much rubber. Besides the cool factor is 100+.

How are you going to finish up the bottom of the windshield? There's a seam there with the patch and the glass... You gonna put the stock shroud back on?

At least a 12 bolt.
i've been unable to find a spool for the 7.5" 10 bolt. any chance you can give me a link to one? i would really like one in mine.

well theres more things i want to do to the motor. Gonna buy the 200cc AI heads/cam for it, FAST computer, fuel system etc. So all thats gonna take a lot more money. SOOO for now im gonna get the car completely done first. Still need to buy brakes and fab up new lines for the manual master cylinder, get the cage put in, driveshaft made. So with all that being said im gonna run this motor for this summer to dial the car in and work out the bugs then next winter im gonna build the motor and maby to a AI/turbo build... well see I did sell my trans/converter this past weekend and bought a built th350 with a RMVB and trans brake and a 3800 vig converter and a cheetah shifter.

The car should run pretty good with the 847 cam and nitrous. Get the car workin real good, hopin to spray the car to the mid 10's.

Sounds good, work with what you've got.

Well, I went through my share of 4L60e's so I can understand the switch. It also seems like your trying to squeeze every penny out of your setup which I think is very smart. One thing I am wondering though... I'm assuming you went with the TH350 for being lighter, cheaper to build, easy transbrake, etc. But what I really want to know is what did you find out about parasitic loss of the TH350 vs TH400, 4L60e, and the 4L80e? I have looked around a little bit about parasitic loss of these, but I'm just wondering what you've found on the subject. There must have been a good reason for you to run the TH350 over a TH400, just wondering what nudged you towards the TH350.

basically the rule of thumb...

th350--small block
th400--big block

The 350 has a lot lighter internals and doesnt rob as much hp to turn then a th400. There almost 50lbs lighter then a 4l60. And when build right a th350 can handle 1000+hp. SOOO will i ever make 1000+hp?? no, so why take away more hp with a th400 when i can run faster on a th350. ALSO the th350 has a slightely tall 1st gear then a th400 = better 60ft's.

I HAVE EXCERIIIISIZED THE DEEEEMON!!! (Ace Ventura there for ya, lol)

Yea that sounds like mid 10's on the setup you've laid out. Should be a screamer.
