Race your car!

I pulled all mine off and haven't had any fumes from it.
my take on it is this: if you still have a muffler under the tank, you're gonna have more of an issue with fumes then someone with an exhaust like mine that dumps out the sides in front of the tires, because the heat from the muffler is gonna heat the tank, heat the fuel, and then cause pressure in the tank, and more fumes.
If you street drive alot, I think it would be a problem, for a track car it doesn't seem to be an issue.
I did put a little filter on the end of the line, I just cut the clip on fitting off my evap line as well, and slid a cheap autozone filter on there, and put some silicone on it to hold the filter on so it won't slide off. It's been that way for a whole season and I have yet to smell anything, see any fuel leak from it, etc.etc.
This is a race car though, so keep that in mind.

anybody got a pic of what they did?
I had my codes disabled and basically just pulled off the hardline/hose from the intake manifold to the evap canister... then put a plug on the nipple of the intake manifold, and left the evap canister dangling... nothing else done to it... here's the hose i pulled off...
am I ok leaving it like it is, or do I need to do something else to it? I was told I could pull that whole rubber hose with the evap canister off, and be done with it...
I'm starting to wonder if this is what is causing my new found problem with "sputtering" at the high rpm range... which all started after my new injector install, volant cai install, and evap delete...
