Default Airbag fuses and sensor removal?

Should i remove the airbag fuses (where are they) and the sensor and pad under the console for a dedicated drag race car? I gutted my interior today for a roll bar and seat install and i saw the sensor under the console. I thought i read somewhere that it could go off, specially if your wheels leave the ground occasionally.

How many are there and are they all under the engine fuse block or side of dash? What about the sensor?
