Default Anyone Using.. Super Victor Intake w/ Nitrous Plate & Carb/TB?? Pics inside..

I have the Super Vic intake with a Speedtech 2 stage plate and a Holley Carb.. I haven't sat the engine in the car yet, but it doesn't look like its gonna fit. It looks REALLY freakin tall and I believe it is going to hit the windshield for sure. I have trimmed the cowl panel all the way back to the glass, but I think its gonna hit the glass itself now and I really don't want to cut the glass. I might have to ditch the plate kit and buy a fogger setup.

Anyone else running a setup like this?? Any pics??

that does look really tall. i dont think it'll hit tho, im pretty sure the carb should sit infront of the windshield line right? even if it was tall enough to hit?

Turn the carb sideways if the bowl is too close to the window.

No the back bowl will not sit in front of the windshield...

Your current linkage looks like it will be an issue but the carb shouldn't be a problem.

You will for sure have to turn the carb sidways, and get the floats for it that guys use with dual 4 barrels so that way they don't get flooded out from the g-forces the car will see leaving the line. Look into that before ya get into the tuning/making any hits, you'll thank me later.

Matt, you're going to have to turn it sideways. On Triggers car, we have a Victor JR with a 1/2 spacer, and the bowl is about 1/4 inch away from the windshield, under the cowl. It would for sure hit with a Super Victor, and a plate.

Here's my Super Vic/TB/plate kit.... it's close but you should be good.
As said, you may need to turn the carb and move your noids to the front of the motor?

Thanks for the info guys... I hope to sit the longblock in it this weekend and then I will toss the intake/carb in to check the clearances. No doubt in my mind now that its gonna hit the glass.. I hate to turn the carb sideways due to the look of it, so I might just pull the plate system and go with a fogger. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Thanks,
Matt

Here is an old pic when I was still EFI.. This is with the GMPP intake, accell throttle body, the same nitrous plate and a 1/2 in carb spacer. You can see there is still a good bit of room with the old setup, but the GMPP intake is like MINI ME compared to the new Super Vic.. lol Not to mention the carb is a lot bigger than a t/b also.

Is that a 4150 plate or a 4500 flange?

Little late to the party but with the super vic in atv's we test fit the plate and 4500 . your going to have to turn the carb sideways. we have to have our throttle linkage on the front with carys new intake and tb ( same height as super vic with 1.5" plate)
