Default Loose ground, where to look?

When I shift hard or do a hard launch the guage hands flicker and turn 180 degrees.... (similar to when you start the car initially). I am thinking it is a loose ground connection somewhere.

Are their any "usual suspects"? I already checked the battery terminals.

Checked the one behind the header. No luck. I will look at the kick panel... You mean drivers side right?

Anyone else. I am not having any luck.

Does anyone have any tips? Will I need to pull the dash?

Look under the car for the strap that goes from the motor to the sub-frame. I had the problem of the battery rocking back and grounding out when I launched. The car would lose all power for a split second.

Thanks so much. I zip-tied the battery down. Hopefully it fixes the problem.

Zip tie??

What happened to that little wedge that holds the battery in place?

The plastic lip on my battery broke.

If you ran zip ties under the bracket for the head light it will end up cutting it. Ask me how I know.

My quick fix at the track after the zip ties broke was a empty coke bottle. I have since removed the A/C so there is nothing for the battery to fall back into. You could try and fab up a strap using flat bar aluminum and some all thread.
