Question Recommended Tire Pressure for Nitto Extremes?

Tomorrow i am going to the track. And my rear tires are basically brand new 315/35 Nitto 555 Extremes (street radial)

What tire pressure should i run them at? I was thinking prolly around 25 or so?

And ideas?

Ive had good luck at 18 with a healthy burn out, 25 wont cut it.

Go with 25 and work your way down.

I had MT ET streets and I played w/ the psi all the way down to 15 however the best was 16-17 psi.

I am not going to do a burn out. They are not DRs.... Just clean them off a little bit..

If you want to hook get new tires. I gained 5 tenths loosing the nittos going to a better tire. I use nittos for streed use only, never at the track.Back in the day when I was running low 12's I bought some old lt1 rims fron junk yard and added better tires M&H Racemaster musclecar drag P305/40/16 for racing. www.intercotire.com gained 1/2 sec over the nitto.

Mike is right. Nitto is a good street tire, but if you want track performance, anything that's bias ply, or the ET radial would be a better bet

on the street tires i have the best luck running them at the recommended tire pressure (30 psi or so). on the 555r's i find them to hook better doing a huge burnout and dropping the pressure to around 20 psi.

I am an M6 on stock 10 bolt. With a DR my rear goes boom

I am thinking i should have gone down to 25 though
