Default Anyone cut out the Trans Am front bumper part for more airflow???

I was wondering if anyone had pics of their front bumpers that had the license plate filler piece removed, and the bumper cut to allow more airflow? I know a lot of FI guys do it get airflow to the FMIC but I wonder what it looks like when you have no FMIC there. Is it a gaping black hole that looks hideous? Or does it make the front end look better?

Any pics????

Here are some examples...KP's cars old/new and Stenod's TT buildup
