Default which spring/shock for me?

My wife offered to get me some springs/shocks for my camaro for my birthday. ive done some searching and cant find the answer im looking for. My car is a daily driven street car, full weight, but weekend track car. Im looking for a spring/shock that is made for drag racing but doesnt make the car ride like a tank on the highway. i know i will lose handling and thats fine, i have a bike for that. ive been looking at QA1 and strange, SA and DA, but not sure which is best for me. money is kinda tight so no afco's unfortunately. id say my car weighs 3400 Ibs or so.

would the SA or DA be better for me

and do i need the 275, 300, or 325 Ibs spring?

I have the STrange in stock. They would be perfect for a street/strip car. Give us a call.

For it being a full weight daily driver I'd get a simple Summit Racing rear adjustable drag shock and a set of 6cyl springs (all the way around) and a set of cheapie monroe struts for the front. I've been sub 1.70 sixty foots with this set-up and driven the car everywhere.

The high dollar shock won't last long especially in a driver, my friend has had his Strange shocks rebuilt twice in less than 15k miles.

Call Eric at Midwest Chassis. Just got all 4 DA's last week and he had the best prices. And will help you with your setup when you got questions. I was in the middle of my install this past sat evening and called him and he took the time to answer the phone. Something that you will find very hard to come by when most sponsors shops are closed on the weekends. I would run the 300-325 spring. 275 is for really light weight drag only type setups from what I was told.
